Words all come from the mind and the mind is a very limited collection of thoughts, memories, sensory impressions - all subject to individual capacities, opinions, beliefs etc.

Words have agreed meanings and these are defined in the accepted authorities of the major dictionaries of the world, but even then, interpretations vary and exact meanings are continuously subject to review and change.

Words are what we need to communicate, and when they relate to things we can verify with our own senses, then broad agreements can be reached. But when it comes to words that attempt to define things that cannot, like Consciousness, Mind, Ego, Self, God, words should never be taken as having specific meanings, more that they are just pointers.

Ultimately only in 'sensing-experiencing' of what words are pointing to will bring us closer to knowing true meaning - and never will this happen through the mind.
