Looking inward, our self, or at least what we had believed our self to be, is impossible to pin down.

It has no physical location, it is in a constant state of change, and all aspects of it are temporary.

The more we look, the less solid it becomes, and eventually we discover it simply does not exist.

We are not our bodies, emotions or the content of our mind - we are more like a 'stillness, or presence' that sits behind.

This truth becomes evident - we are beyond form, we are conscious of awareness, aware of the essence of that which pervades all there is.

There is no one to become awakened or enlightened. There is no separate self and never was.
